Public recently designed the new brandmark for the Ichthys Project. The US$20 billion joint venture project by Japan's Inpex Corporation and Total E&P is aiming to deliver its first LNG shipment in 2014/2015. Ichthys is the ancient Greek word for fish and the illustration style reveals a Japanese origami like quality which links Inpex Australia to it's parent company in Tokyo.
